We’ve had a busy start to the year with plenty of exciting updates to share! Here’s a quick rundown of what we’ve been up to:

Updates: New Pages, Wiki, and SRAD Progress

We’re excited to share some major updates this season. Our new Contact and Sponsorship pages are now live, making it easier than ever to connect with us or explore partnership opportunities. Additionally, we’ve launched a wiki hosted on GitHub Pages using the git-wiki-skeleton. The wiki is a simple, collaborative platform where anyone can contribute or edit content directly in their browser. Also some minor improvements to the overall lauyout and setup of the website, including updated navigation that links to our new Contact, Sponsorship, and Wiki pages.

In terms of rocketry progress, we’re in the final stages of procuring a Pro98 reload for Launch Canada coming up in August and reaching out to US suppliers to power our Michigan test launches. Meanwhile, our team is advancing several student-researched and developed (SRAD) subprojects. The Payload and Avionics teams are working diligently on our custom SRAD flight computer, while the Capstone group is making great strides with their automated filament winder. Behind the scenes, our team leads have been busy finalizing designs, reviewing the work from first semester, and handling some admin tasks for the season ahead.

Upcoming Meeting

Our first meeting of the winter semester is this Thursday at 6:30 PM. We’re excited to dive into prototyping and fabrication for Hyperion II, our high-power rocket project for this season.

Stay tuned for more updates as we gear up for an exciting year of rocketry!
